All about Epona
The Basics
On the 18th of November 2015, Epona, also known as EP, was released. The excitement was huge! The area space even bigger sized than the excitement! This place is in the south Harvest Counties and to unlock the quest that brings you there, you must be level 16 and you will need to have helped Helga with her family's summer house, delivered the letter about G.E.D to Herman at Jorvik Stables and have helped Nick Stoneground explore Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur. You also need to be Friendly with the G.E.D faction at Jarlaheim. This quest starts when you receive a text message from Herman.
After taking the hidden path, you can access Epona from the gate near Wolf Hall Inn, Greendale and the original hidden path.

Everywhere in Epona!
In this section of the page, I'm going to give a detailed description of each area, complete with pictures! Where should I show first? How about...
The Cauldron.
The path keeps going down and down...
The Cauldron is a rock formation, a dip in the hills of Epona up near Observatory 12. On the map, The Cauldron is visible as a swirling circle shape in the northeast of EP. (Picture of the map will be added shortly) The Cauldron has a long pathway of slopes leading down to the bottom of it, where you can see a little pond, surrounded by beautiful hanging marsh trees, ferns and flowers. Lily pads float in the water and rocks surround the pond. These lily pats have little pretty red flowers on the tops of them. The colour of the flowers around the bank are yellow and red. There is a cave opening in the wall to the west of the pond, but you cannot go inside. Fog sets in over here, and when you reach the bottom of The Cauldron, the water will have a blue mist rising out of it. When in the area of The Cauldron, you can hear exotic wildlife noises. Keep in mind that once you get down, it's a long way to the top. |
New Hillcrest
New Hillcrest, "NCH", is the little modern town on the hill outside of the Mirror Marshes. The citizens of Jorvik built it using a city-building planner, according to the description in "Discovered areas". The houses look like a modern suburban area, all identical and fresh. Cars are parked along the streets and roads, and NPC's walk around aimlessly, supposedly going about their lives. These houses only fill one side of the town. On the other side, there's shops. A cafe which only sells coffee, horse shops, clothes shops, more clothes and horse shops. A stable with nothing but crappy stalls with no doors. You can jump into the backyards of the houses, something that's quite fun to do, and see the citizens doing uh... citizen stuff? In front one of the houses is Ricky Winterwell, with some quests for you to do, and after you complete those, improve your rep with the people of NCH by completing dailys! These dailys involve going on a jog with Ricky, delivering newspapers around NCH and collecting garbage!
